Off-the-Shoulder, White Midi Dress

White OTS Midi DRESS from Nasty Gal. Similar DRESS. Similar DRESS. Sunnies HERE. Wicker basket PURSE. Similar HEREHEREHERE. Nude MULES

Hey hey, sister friends! I'm writing to you with the biggest smile on my face because I just had one of the best weekends. I spent the weekend at home with my sweet family and friends, and now I'm headed back to NYC. I'll get to weekend details after I tell you all about today's look--one of my recent favs!

These basket bags have been everywhere this summer it seems. I wanted to get one that was a little different than the typical style. I found this one at Free People, and I am just in love. I've also linked similar above and below in the widget.

Has anyone else noticed that Nasty Gal's clothes keep getting better and better? Well, I definitely think they have. I love this sweet, midi-length dress with lace detail. It's such a feminine look. I wore some nude mules. These are Prada (on sale from Nordstrom but no longer online). I linked some adorable look-alikes.

If you've seen my Insta lately, then you have seen these sunnies. I cannot get enough. These are Vogue Eyewear by Gigi Hadid. This collection is loaded up with the cutest styles!

Earrings are by my friend, Delanie. You can find her shop on insta @begoldenjewelry. Seriously, check her stuff out! You won't regret it!

Now to the weekend!! My best friend from high school, Laura, came to visit from Paris. She was a foreign exchange student, and even seven years later we have been traveling back and forth to visit each other. She stayed with me in NYC, and came back to my hometown to visit all our old friends. I decided to make the trip back for a long weekend.

I have loved every second of being home. As soon as I got off the plane, an old woman stopped me just to chat, I saw a man in overalls and a woman wearing a shirt with an eagle on it. It is always good to be in Arkansas!

I have seen SO many of my favorite people. One of my oldest friends, April, met us for lunch. We got to visit with her sweet babies. Another oldest friend, Chandler, surprised us and stayed the night. Her boyfriend just signed with the NY Jets--so she will be moving up east in the fall!! Seriously so cool!!

Emily, John, Luke and Fitzy stayed the night on Friday, too! I don't think I have laughed so hard in so long! I couldn't sleep Friday night because I was so giddy thinking about how lucky I was to be surrounded by such wonderful friends--all of which who have been part of my life for so many years. Saturday morning my dad made us his famous waffles.

Yesterday I went to my home church, and we had family over for hamburgers. My cousin, Morgan, and Laura and Savanna came over to lay out. Morgan is having a baby in just 3 weeks! I cannot believe her Ella Jane will be here so soon! Seems like just yesterday she was telling me she was pregnant. And last night I got to visit with Chase's parents, and that was SO nice! I wish he could have come home, too, but I can't hate on him too much for working hard. :)

All in all, I'm still on cloud nine, but I'm looking forward to getting back to my own place and seeing my NYC friends, George Harrison and the sweetest boyfriend ever.

Sending my love. xx
