HAPPY MEMORIAL DAY, friends!! I hope you are all enjoying a relaxing day at home or somewhere fun like the beach or lake! I am spending today in my apartment studying & doing homework. Thankfully I do have lunch plans with a friend to save me from cabin fever! ALSO--my 24th birthday is WEDNESDAY so this week is especially exciting!

I decided it would be better to spend my first long weekend in the city since I haven't had a still moment since moving. I can't complain though, I tend to like a busier lifestyle.

So this outfit is one I have Instagrammed a couple of times, and I got a lot of feedback from it. So here it as a a full blog post! It is one of my favorite tops at the moment. It comes in this blue with pink stripes & now also in yellow with purple stripes. Both equally adorable!

I just threw on white jeans and cute wedges and called it a day! Perfect for errands!

I had a busy weekend! So Friday night I had a few girlfriends come over and hang out. We ended up talking until 3 a.m., and it had to have been one of the most fun nights I've had in a very long time! We laughed so much... and even left Bob Goff a voicemail. (Seriously hoping he calls me back soon!)

On Saturday I went a concert for a local band on the Upper West Side with my friend, Amanda, and Chase! It was seriously so fun! I have stayed up later this weekend than I have in ages! I am such an old woman.

Yesterday, Chase and I went to church and then met a couple friends for lunch at the cutest spot, Pietro NoLita, in Soho. We went over to DUMBO and looked around at the flea markets and walked all over the Brooklyn Bridge Park.

So last night, Chase and I were hanging out, and we decided it would be fun to make cookies. (Yes, I know, it's bad, MOM.) So we walked several blocks down to CVS to get some packaged to pop in the oven. As soon as we get back, Emily, FaceTimes me so I asked Chase to throw them in the oven at 350. He does, and I get off the phone with Em. A few minutes pass, and the smoke detectors start going off in my apartment. I run over to the oven to open it, only to see about 12 nearly solid black cookies smoking. He thought I said to set the oven to 500!! I don't know why, but us almost burning down my apartment building had to be one of the funniest things! I guess God really didn't want me to eat those cookies... ;)

I hope you all have a great day! xx
