Sweater Dress

Fall is just around the corner & I have the perfect sweater dress for those chilly days to come! I don't know about you, but I am beyond ready for the cool nights, changing leaves, hot chocolate and bonfires!

This adorable dress will be perfect for any of your fall activities to come--or perfect for a night cozied-up at home by the fire.

The sleeves on this are billowed, and can be worn up on your forearm or relaxed on your wrists.

Oh, so very serious! Lol!

I love an outfit that can be dressed up or down! I added some cute, brown booties. I've linked some very similar pairs that would look perfect with it!

My arms and legs are still covered in mosquito bites from hiking this last weekend. It was so much fun just getting in the car and finding mountains to explore and climb. Hiking and experiencing nature to the fullest always reminds me of my big brother, Jeremy.

I lost my brother 11 years ago this Christmas. We were extremely close. One of our favorite things to do together was to hike and go on adventures. He spent his time teaching me about all the plants and animals we would see along the way. He loved the outdoors more than anyone I have ever known.

Losing someone you love is never ever easy. It's something that will hurt you every day for the rest of your life, and despite what people say, the pain doesn't necessarily get easier--it just gets easier to cope with. Jeremy was and is my hero. He loved with a love greater than anyone I've ever known. He was a friend to everyone he met, and I never once heard him say a negative thing about anyone. He knew how to make people feel special and if you ever had the chance to meet him, you would somehow feel like the most important person in the world. He gave the best bear hugs and did weird things just to see people's reactions.

When I think about my brother, I think about all the things I hope to be. I hope to be kind, loving, slow to anger, happy, adventurous and selfless. Although, he is not with us today, my memories of him will last forever. The lessons he taught me will always be with me, and so, he will never ever be forgotten.
